Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference, not a disease, not a defect, and certainly not caused by taking paracetamol during pregnancy.
We stand firmly with the NHS, the National Autistic Society, and leading UK health experts in rejecting President Trump’s recent claims. There is no scientific evidence linking paracetamol or vaccines to autism.
Spreading misinformation like this:
- Undermines decades of rigorous research
- Fuels stigma against autistic people and their families
- Risks public health by discouraging safe medical practices
